Dr Priyesh Tiwari

MBBS, MD, MRCGP

Dr Priyesh Tiwari (MBBS, MD, MRCGP) is an experienced, family-focused General Practitioner consulting at Cooleman Court Medical Centre. He provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families across all stages of life.

Dr Tiwari has particular interests in women’s health, children’s health, chronic disease management, mental health care, and preventative medicine. He is committed to supporting patients in achieving long-term wellbeing through evidence-based practice, continuity of care, and shared decision-making.

In addition to general practice consultations, Dr Tiwari performs a range of procedures including skin checks, dermoscopy, cryotherapy, minor skin lesion removals, joint injections, and regenerative treatments such as PRP therapy.

Dr Tiwari combines clinical expertise with a strong focus on patient education and empowerment, helping patients take an active role in their health journey.

Dr Yasameen Alshawi

MBChB, FRACGP, AMC, PGDip Aesthetic (UK)

An accomplished and dedicated medical professional with a wealth of experience in the field of general practice. With a career spanning over 14 years, Dr. Alshawi has consistently provided compassionate and high-quality healthcare to patients across two continents.
Dr. Alshawi's journey in medicine began at Basra Medical School in Iraq, where she graduated in 1998. Fuelled by a passion for improving healthcare, she pursued an additional three years of postgraduate training, honing her skills and knowledge. Her dedication led her to work as a General Practitioner in a rural area of Baghdad from 2000 to 2004, where she gained invaluable experience in managing a diverse range of medical conditions.

Recognising the importance of diagnostic precision, Dr. Alshawi embarked on a year-long training in ultrasound diagnostics and radiology. This specialised training equipped her with the expertise to provide accurate and comprehensive diagnostic insights to her patients.

In 2010, Dr. Alshawi's journey brought her to Australia, where she joined the medical team at Calvary Hospital in Canberra. During her tenure as a resident, she exhibited her commitment to patient care and clinical excellence. Subsequently, she transitioned to the role of General Practitioner in Wagga Wagga, dedicating three years to serving the local community.

Dr. Alshawi's pursuit of excellence and continuous learning led her to attain the prestigious fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Since 2017, she has been an integral part of the healthcare landscape in Canberra, where she continues to make a positive impact on the lives of her patients.

In her quest to provide holistic care, Dr. Alshawi has expanded her expertise to include aesthetic medicine and skin cancer diagnosis. She has completed a diploma in aesthetics from Bonds University in QLD and an advanced certificate in skin cancer, demonstrating her commitment to offering a comprehensive range of services to her patients. These include wrinkle treatment injection for bunny lines, gummy smile, masseter muscle injection, marionette line, neck platysma band injection and nefertiti neck lift as well as dermal injection on Perioral area, Chin, Cheeks, and lips.

She provides professional dermatology and aesthetic consultation regarding dermatitis, rash, acne treatment and cosmetic intervention, including wrinkle treatment injections and filler. Dr. Alshawi also has demonstrable surgery skills, including but not limited to Implanon insertion/removal, skin biopsy, ingrown toenail wedge resection, abscess drainage, and sutures.
Beyond her professional endeavours, Dr. Alshawi maintains a balanced and active lifestyle. She shares her home with two canine companions who bring joy and companionship, reflecting her warm and nurturing nature.

Dr Victor Grace

MBBCH, AMC, FRACGP

Dr. Victor Grace is a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) with a wealth of international experience and a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services. Dr. Grace completed his medical degree (MBBCH) at Cairo University, Egypt in 2002, and has since pursued advanced qualifications including the AMC (Australian Medical Council) and FRACGP (Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners).

With a passion for serving communities both locally and abroad, Dr. Grace has garnered invaluable experience as a GP overseas before settling in Australia. Since 2016, he has been an integral part of rural healthcare in New South Wales, where he has earned a reputation for his compassionate care and clinical expertise.

Fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr. Grace ensures effective communication with patients from diverse backgrounds, fostering trust and understanding in every interaction. His special interests encompass a wide range of medical areas, including excision of skin lesions and lumps, chronic disease management, mental health, musculoskeletal and sports medicine, as well as paediatric and women's health.

Dr. Grace is committed to providing comprehensive and personalized healthcare to his patients, with a focus on holistic well-being and long-term health management. Dr Rifat Jabeen

MBBS, FRACGP

A fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Dr Rifat Jabeen has been practising as a General Practitioner in rural South Australia and NSW since 2015. Dr. Jabeen started practicing in Canberra in 2019.

She originally graduated from Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh in 2007. She did her advanced training in Internal Medicine in major Hospitals and also worked as General Practitioner overseas.

As a GP, she developed special interest in Chronic Disease Management, Women’s Health, Child Health and Preventive Health.

Dr. Jabeen speaks English and Bengali.

Dr Kim Leung

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Leung is a Fellowed General Practitioner who completed his general practice training in Hong Kong before joining our team. He brings valuable international experience and a patient-centred approach to care.

Dr Leung believes that a balanced diet and an active lifestyle are fundamental to maintaining good health and long-term wellbeing. He is committed to providing thorough, face-to-face consultations and values building strong doctor–patient relationships founded on trust, respect, and continuity of care.

Outside of medicine, Dr Leung enjoys running, hiking, and travelling.

Dr Leung speaks both English and Cantonese.

Dr Iris Ko

FRACGP, MBChB, MRCGP, PgDip Practical Dermatology, Certificate of Clinical Occupational Medicine

Dr Iris Ko has been practicing as a doctor since graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2013. She completed all her postgraduate training in the United Kingdom and obtained her royal college membership in 2019. She has been practicing as a General Practitioner in Scotland before emigrating to Australia. Dr Ko has special interest in dermatology having completed a Diploma in Practical Dermatology at Cardiff University.

She has also completed the Monash Certificate in Clinical Occupational Medicine and has the skills and knowledge to address the complex nature of occupational health and safety in the workplace.

Dr Ko is also fluent in Mandarin. She enjoys yoga and reading during her free time.

Dr John Reeve

MBChB, FRACP, FRNZCGP

Dr Reeve has a wealth of knowledge of general practice, with over 50 years of experience. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians.
Dr Reeve only sees his patients face to face, and does not offer telephone appointments.
Dr Reeve does not prescribe any substance listed in Schedule 8 of the Standard for the Uniform Scheduling of Medicines and Poisons or any drug of dependence , including but not limited to those contained within Schedule 4 of the SUSMP

Charan Walia

Exercise Physiologist- BSpSc, GradDipExPhys, Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Charan is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over 20 years of experience in the field of Exercise Physiology, Performance and Rehabilitation. Born in Nairobi, Kenya, he moved to Perth after being awarded an industry scholarship to study an undergraduate in Sports and Exercise Science at Edith Cowan University. He then completed a Graduate Diploma in Science (Exercise Rehabilitation) from the University of Western Australia.

Charan has worked with elite level performers including the Kenya National Olympic Team in areas of performance and load management. At CCMC he works predominantly with chronic disease management. He sees his role as a relationship manager- helping you improve your relationship with movement. Charan is also qualified as a Professional Breathwork Practitioner.

Kereng Modise

Physiotherapist

Kereng graduated from the University of South Australia (Adelaide) in 2006. She has since worked across different areas of Physiotherapy.
Since moving to Canberra, she enjoys walking around “the lake”.

Keeley Van Order

Psychologist- MPsych (Prof), BPsychSc (Hons)

Keely Van Order is a compassionate and highly skilled psychologist with a strong foundation in both psychology and medical science. She holds a Master of Professional Psychology and a Master of Clinical Research, which she completed alongside medical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. She has recently been accepted into a fully funded PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Toronto, which she will commence later this year.

Keely has a special interest in neuropsychology, psychometric testing, and cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessments, including ADHD, learning difficulties, and dementia. She also provides evidence-based treatment approaches and mental health support for children, adolescents, and adults.

Her approach is collaborative and practical, grounded in the belief that every individual has the capacity for resilience, growth, and meaningful change.

In addition to her clinical work, Keely is in the process of establishing a registered charitable trust aligned with her commitment to equity in healthcare. Through this initiative, $10 from each psychology session will be directed toward food relief efforts, supporting both international and Australian communities. This includes contributions to the World Food Programme, with additional Australian-based food relief organisations to be incorporated as the trust develops.

This initiative reflects Keely’s belief that access to basic human needs, such as nutrition, is fundamental to both physical and mental wellbeing, and aims to extend the impact of her work beyond the consulting room.
